Riverside Park in Hebron is a beautiful wooded park very near the Little Blue River. The park in Hebron is often referred to as the CC Camp due to its history. The CC Camp was home of the Civil Conservation Corp during the Great Depression and then hosted German POW’s during World War II. All but one of the 40 plus cabins have been removed from the park.
Riverside Park has hot showers and restroom facilities available. Sewer dumping is available at a drive-thru area on the South end of the campground. There are some covered picnic facilities and rock bar-b-que area for grilling (although this is a bit primitive compared to our nice portable grills these days!).
We do not accept reservations at the Park as this would require significant more overhead and costs. We want to keep our overnight fees as reasonable as possible. There is a two week camping limit. This regulation and fee collection is handled by Jack McLaughlin, our park facility manager.
