Blue Valley Lutheran Homes Society, Inc. (BVLH) is a multifaceted social ministry organization of the ELCA. Founded in 1948, Blue Valley Lutheran Homes is dedicated to enriching the lives of those we serve though Christian love with compassion, respect and integrity. -3900.

Non-Profit Organization

 
BVLH is a non-profit organization, accepting both private pay and Medicaid approved residents. All persons in need of nursing home care, memory support or assist living are gladly considered for residence in our homes. BVLH consist of four facilities, the Nursing Home offering long-term and short-term care, skilled nursing services, and rehabilitation services. At Courtyard Terrace is the assisted living facility. The Gardens is the memory care unit and at the Care Home is long-term and short-term care for those with developmental disabilities.

Blue Valley Lutheran Homes Society, Inc. is sponsored by 17 area Lutheran churches. Local Pastors of the area provide worship and spiritual support to residents and staff throughout the week. Ecumenical communion is offered twice monthly in all facilities and Catholic communion weekly. 

Physicians at Blue Valley Homes

 
Local physicians at Thayer County Health Services provide rounds at our facilities once a week and are available via phone calls for any concerns that arise between visits.
